good size bathrooms, convenient dinner options, useful local activity information
Room 1 had an extremely creaky bed that woke me up every time I or my partner moved!!! Plus, the shower pressure was disappointing. Both of these issues can be easily addressed!!!

the building does have a nice exterior, but the bed in my room was creaky, waking me up constantly. I almost gave a good review, but the staff didn’t even bother to upgrade my room. Unbelievable!

Recommend it for families
Phylis was a perfect hostess. She served us a lovely homemade lamb stew on our second evening after a long day, and we appreciated the cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling, offering plenty of options that catered to everyone’s tastes. Coming back from touring to a warm fire and tea was exactly what we needed.
It wasn't inexpensive, but the experience was worth it.
